Albert Häggblom
ED/MOOSE
Albert Häggblom is a Finnish-Swedish actor, musical theatre performer and all-round entertainer with a knack for wearing many hats — sometimes quite literally.
Over the years, he has appeared in numerous musicals on stages across Finland and Sweden, including Grease, My Fair Lady, West Side Story and Urinetown, among others. He also has a strong comic streak and has written and starred in his own comedies, Fuck Tinder and Tomten kommer strax.
During the pandemic, Albert appeared in the comedy Berusade at Dramaten, Sweden’s Royal Dramatic Theatre. More recently, he appeared in Madama Butterfly at the Royal Swedish Opera. Later this spring, he’ll also be popping up in an upcoming SVT production, and an indie horror movie. Details under wraps, naturally.
When he’s not singing his heart out on a musical theatre stage, Albert can usually be found somewhere at sea, moonlighting as a pirate, a Moomin character, a karaoke host or a bingo caller aboard a cruise ship near you. Or simply trying out bad jokes on a standup scene.
A life split between musical theatre, comedy and the occasional pirate adventure has given Albert a rather broad repertoire — both on stage and off.
